Food2U is a Hobart-based catering business offering contemporary classic food for all occasions.
With over 14 years’ experience in the catering industry, Food2U has built a reputation as a provider of high-quality catering to a range of corporate, small business and government customers.
One of the reasons that food2u has gained such a strong reputation is our attention to delivering a unique culinary experience to our customers based on quality and integrity of product.
Our Menus

Food2u provide catering for Christmas functions, corporate lunches and dinners, breakfast catering, dinner parties, events, product launches, weddings, functions, morning and afternoon teas and parties. We are happy to cater for dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and paleo.
Working with you, food2u will provide samples of prospective menus to meet your expectations.

Wedding Meals
Weddings, commitments, re-commitments – a feast to follow any ceremonial event.
Entrust your special day to food2u. Our friendly team can create a memorable feast or a stylish cocktail reception.
Upon confirmation of your booking we can arrange sample tastings in a private relaxed atmosphere so that you know you will be getting exactly what you want.
food2u offers professional advice on menus, dietary requirements, wait staff, venues, seating and decorations.
Corporate Catering
Working lunches, meetings, events, VIP and board member functions – food2u provides breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, canapés and meals to corporate clients.
Should you prefer an option not listed – we are flexible – please ring to discuss your needs.
Minimum order is for $100 except for canapés.
Canteen style meals are available – please contact us to discuss the menu.
Private Function
Birthdays, dinner parties, barbeques, family celebrations or significant events – food2u offers flexibility to deliver food from our kitchen to yours or to prepare food at your home. We can tailor our menu to your desires and offer provision of trestle tables, table linen, crockery and cutlery for hire.
Beverage packages with or without alcohol are available.
Event catering
The food2u team is experienced in coordinating food and beverage packages for events catering for up to 200 guests/delegates.
We pride ourselves on providing a range of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.
Meet with us to sample tasters of our produce and discuss bump in – bump out logistics and special requirements.
Our Services
We are experienced in providing catering services in a diverse range of venues and locations, outdoors and indoors throughout Hobart and regional Tasmania.(See our FAQ for some venue ideas.)
Our resources and expertise allow us to provide dynamic and delicious catering options in a variety of circumstances, examples of which include on-location catering for weddings, film sets in the central highlands (or wherever your heart desires), corporate launches, conferences, charity events and festivals.
Equipment such as trestle tables, linen, urns, crockery, cutlery and glassware are available for hire. We can take care of table decorations, flowers, etc.
